Shoppin’ Secures $1M Pre-Seed Funding from Info Edge Ventures to Revolutionize Fashion Discovery

AI-powered fashion search engine Shoppin’ has successfully raised $1 million in pre-seed funding from Info Edge Ventures, aiming to transform fashion discovery into a seamless, personalized, and accessible experience. This funding will be strategically utilized to hire top talent, enhance proprietary technology, and drive growth.

Solving Fashion Search Challenges

With online shopping often feeling overwhelming, 80% of consumers struggle with poor fashion search, which creates a significant barrier to purchase. Shoppin’ tackles this issue by enabling users to discover apparel effortlessly through prompts, product descriptions, images, and vibes—putting the consumer at the heart of its innovation.

Despite zero marketing spend, Shoppin’ has already garnered 35,000 Instagram followers and 20,000+ waitlist sign-ups within just three weeks, underscoring the demand for its solution and its growing appeal among fashion enthusiasts.

AI-Driven Personalization & Expansion Plans

A major portion of the funds will be allocated to hiring AI engineers and developing proprietary AI models, including custom-built SLMs (specialized language models) and embeddings models, fine-tuned specifically for the fashion industry.

With over 75% of Gen-Z fashion inspiration originating from Instagram and Pinterest, Shoppin’ bridges the gap between social media inspiration and e-commerce shopping.
